​Little Sprouts Summer Camp: Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Little Sprouts Summer Camp! We’re thrilled to have your child join us for a summer full of fun, learning, and creativity. Our camp is designed for children ages 6-11 and blends arts, technology, and sciences with hands-on activities that spark curiosity, cultural exploration, and a love for discovery.
At Little Sprouts Summer Camp, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. Our terms and conditions outline the rules and guidelines for campers' participation and help ensure a positive and enriching environment for everyone.
Our terms cover important aspects such as camper eligibility, code of conduct, program offerings, intellectual property rights, account suspension, and dispute resolution.
​We’re located at Denny Park Lutheran Church, 766 John St #5132, Seattle, WA 98109, and our summer session runs from June 23, 2025 – August 29, 2025.
By enrolling your child, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions to maintain a harmonious and respectful camp community. If you have any questions, please reach out—we’re happy to help!
Tiare, LLC - Participant Agreement
1. Enrollment and Eligibility
1.1. Campers must be between ages 6-11 at the time of attendance.
1.2. Enrollment is first-come, first-served; a completed registration form and full payment are required to secure a spot. Late registrations may incur an additional processing fee.
1.3. If a session reaches full capacity, campers will be placed on a waitlist, and parents will be notified if a spot becomes available.
1.4. Parents must submit a completed health form, including immunization records and emergency contact details, prior to camp attendance. A health form will be provided following registration confirmation.
1.5. Parents must disclose at time of registration any:

Medical, dietary, or behavioral needs.

Food allergies or dietary restrictions.
1.6. Activities may include any of the following:

Cultural Arts & Crafts

STEM-based Hands-On Experiments

Music, Dance & Storytelling
-
Outdoor Team-Building Games

Technology & Coding
-
Light Cooking & Baking Activities

Off-site excursions. Transportation: Seattle Metro public transit with trained staff supervision.
1.7. The camp reserves the right to deny enrollment if a camper's needs exceed the level of supervision and care we can provide.
1.8. Campers must be toilet trained and able to participate in group activities independently.

2. Payment and Fees
2.1. Camp tuition is due at registration.
2.2. Accepted Payment Methods: Debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
2.3. Sibling Discount: Families enrolling more than one child receive a 5% discount for each additional sibling. Contact us for details.
2.4. Extended Care Fees: Available from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM at $30 per hour per child.
2.5. A $35 fee applies for declined transactions. We do not accept checks.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Full Refund Minus $40 Cancellation Fee – Cancellations made on or before Monday, May 16, 2025.
3.2. No Refunds – Cancellations made after May 16, 2025.
3.3. How to Request a Cancellation

3.4. No refunds will be issued for missed camp days or partial attendance.
3.5. If a session is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., low enrollment, natural disasters), we will offer a full refund or transfer to another session.
3.6. Refunds for medical emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis with a doctor’s note.
3.7. No refunds will be provided for health-related closures.
4. Behavior & Conduct Expectations
4.1. Campers must treat others with kindness, respect, and inclusivity.
4.2. Zero-tolerance policy for bullying, aggressive behavior, or discrimination.
4.3. Failure to comply with behavior expectations may result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
4.4. Electronics (phones, tablets) are restricted during camp activities unless approved for learning purposes.
4.5. Campers are responsible for following staff instructions and maintaining camp safety guidelines.
4.6. Compliance with Washington State health and safety regulations is mandatory.
4.7. Campers are expected to follow hygiene guidelines, including frequent handwashing and responsible food handling.
5. Discipline Policy
5.1. First Infraction: Verbal warning.
5.2. Second Infraction: Parent/guardian notification.
5.3. Third Infraction: Possible suspension or dismissal (no refunds).
5.4. Little Sprouts Summer Camp reserves the right to dismiss a camper whose behavior endangers others, disrupts camp activities, or violates policies.
6. Food Safety Guidelines
6.1. Nut-Free Environment: No peanuts, tree nuts, or nut-based products are allowed.
6.2. No Food Sharing: Campers are not permitted to share food to prevent accidental exposure to allergens.
6.3. Parent Responsibility: Families must pack safe, non-perishable meals and snacks suited to their child's dietary needs.
7. Health & Safety
7.1 Medical Policy
Little Sprouts Summer Camp follows Washington State health and safety guidelines, which recommend that only licensed medical personnel administer medications in non-school-affiliated camps. Because we do not have a nurse or licensed healthcare professional on staff, we are unable to provide medication administration services beyond what is legally required.

Emergency Medications
​Certain life-saving medications, such as EpiPens and inhalers, may be accepted only if required by law and accompanied by:

​Routine Medications
​We do not store or administer daily medications, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Parents must arrange for their child to take any necessary medication before or after camp. Little Sprouts Summer Camp follows Washington State health and safety guidelines, which recommend that only licensed medical personnel administer medications in non-school-affiliated camps. Because we do not have a Washington State licensed healthcare professional on staff, we are unable to provide medication administration services beyond what is legally required.

Sick Policy
​Sick children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.

Injury Response
Staff are CPR & First Aid certified and will notify parents in case of injury.
7.2. Food & Allergy Policy

Nut-Free Policy: No peanuts, tree nuts, or nut-based products allowed.

Meals & Snacks: Parents must provide a nut-free lunch and snacks.
7.3. Vaccination & Health Requirements

Campers may be required to provide vaccination records or exemption documentation in compliance with state health regulations. Specific instructions will be provided before camp begins on how to submit records. Parents should ensure that all medical information is accurate and up to date at the time of registration.
8. Medical Treatment Authorization
8.1. Parents authorize Tiare, LLC to administer basic first aid.
8.2. In case of a medical emergency, Tiare, LLC will contact emergency services first, then notify the parent/guardian.
8.3. Parents are responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
9. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
9.1. By enrolling in Little Sprouts Summer Camp, parents acknowledge that:

Participation in camp activities involves some risk of injury (e.g., outdoor play, sports, field trips).

Tiare, LLC and Little Sprouts Summer Camp is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illnesses, except in cases of gross negligence.

Tiare, LLC is not liable for any lost belongings, or damages during camp activities.
-
Campers should not bring valuable personal items; we are not responsible for lost or stolen goods.

Parents waive, release, and discharge Tiare, LLC from liability related to participation.

By registering, parents grant permission for photos/videos of campers to be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Parents may opt-out by emailing contact@tiare.io before the camp session starts.
10. Indemnification
10.1. Parents/guardians agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tiare, LLC, its employees, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the camper’s participation, except in cases of gross negligence.
11. Media Release
11.1. Tiare, LLC may photograph or video record camp activities for promotional and educational purposes.
11.2. Parents who do not consent to their child’s image being used must provide a written opt-out request.
12. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
12.1. Timeliness is required: Drop-off and pick-up must occur within designated times.

Drop-Off Window: 8:45 AM – 9:00 AM.

Pick-Up Time: 4:00 PM.

Extended Care: Available until 5:30 PM ($30/hour).

12.2. Late Pick-Ups

Campers not picked up by 4:00 PM will automatically be placed in Extended Care, and applicable fees will be charged

After 5:30 PM: A late pick-up fee of $1 per minute per child will be applied.
12.3. Authorized Pick-ups:

Only pre-authorized individuals can pick up campers.

ID Verification: Guardians must present a valid photo ID
13. Inclement Weather and Emergency Closures
13.1. Tiare, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule camp sessions due to weather, emergencies, or low enrollment.
13.2. If Tiare, LLC is unable to operate due to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances, the camp may cancel or postpone sessions without issuing refunds. Parents will be notified as soon as possible of any schedule changes.
14. Privacy Policy
14.1. Personal information collected during registration will be used only for camp administration, safety, and communication.
14.2. Tiare, LLC will not share personal data with third parties without consent.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
15.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
15.2. Any disputes arising from camp participation shall be resolved through mediation before legal proceedings.
16. Amendments to Terms
16.1. Tiare, LLC may update these terms at any time. Parents will be notified of any changes in advance.
17. Agreement & Acknowledgment
17.1. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
